Plants need water, sun and soil to thrive – just like people need nutritious food and physical activity to grow. Get Up & Go by Children’s Health℠ provides a fun, interactive program that invites kids and families to learn about what plants and humans need to be healthy.
The Planting Healthy Habits Program is a free, two-class series that invites participants to dig in the dirt as we discuss the nutrients in plants and how we can grow our own food. After completing the course, your family will take home a vegetable sack garden to place on your porch or replant in your backyard.
